DAILY SURFACE SOLAR CHARGER

With the CycloSun Surface Daily solar charger, there's no need for a power outlet: let your electric bike recharge itself!

Autonomy

The Surface Daily solar charger combines a shatterproof 50W solar panel with a high-efficiency charge controller. Solar charging is 100% automatic whether the device is on or off, so your battery is always charged when you need it.

In good weather, the Surface solar charger produces up to 250 Wh per day (Central Europe), the equivalent of 35 to 50 km of additional range. Production varies depending on many factors: latitude, season, weather, temperature, orientation, exposure time, battery charge level.

Safety

The Surface Daily solar charger is installed on the luggage rack. With its rounded corners, Surface Daily is much narrower (45 cm) than the handlebar: nothing sticks out!

The reflective side and rear stripes are an additional safety feature: you are more visible on the road, especially when driving at night.

Modular

The Surface Daily solar charger has an auxiliary socket to adapt to all your autonomy needs.

If you are going on a trip, you can connect an external solar panel to charge faster, either during breaks or while riding (installation on a trailer).

If you change your e-bike, the controller's output voltage is programmable (24V, 36V, 48V).

Sustainable

A battery requires constant maintenance, otherwise its performance quickly declines. With the Surface Daily solar charger, the battery maintains an optimal charge even during long periods of disuse: your battery lasts longer.

The Surface Daily solar charger has been tested for 10 years in real-world conditions and comes with a 5-year warranty. Surface Daily is robust and weighs only 3.2 kg. Once installed on your luggage rack, the solar charger generates no vibration or noise and is drop-resistant.

Easy installation

The Surface Daily solar charger installs on the luggage rack in 5 minutes; no modifications are necessary. The flat part of the luggage rack must be at least 20 cm long, and the width of the luggage rack must not exceed 17 cm.

COMPATIBILITY

The solar charger is compatible with all electric bikes that meet the following 3 criteria:

#1. Standard connector

The Cyclosun solar charger uses cylindrical connectors in the standard DC 5.5 x 2.1 mm format. This connector format is fitted to many recent electric bikes.

Battery models with a connector in XT60, XT90, IEC, XLR-3, RCA, GX16 or GX12 format are compatible with an adapter.

Bicycles equipped with proprietary battery connectors are not compatible: Bosch, Yamaha, Shimano, Brose, etc.

#2. Charge while driving

If you can use your electric bike's display when the battery is charging from the mains, then you can charge the battery while riding with a solar charger.

If the screen goes black, you can only charge when stopped.

#3. Battery access

The battery can be located under the saddle, on the luggage rack or on the frame with a charging connector accessible while riding.
