Immediate handling
Once the tow hitch is installed on the rear wheel hub, the CycloSun Capsule solar trailer attaches and detaches with a simple click. Plug in the charging cable and you're ready to go! Riding it is immediately intuitive; the solar trailer doesn't change your cycling style, even on curves. Just remember that the trailer is 10 to 20 cm wider than your handlebars!
Large transport volume
The trailer is easy to load thanks to its large 400-liter capacity, equivalent to the trunk of a city car or compact vehicle. You can easily store large sleeping bags, all your camping gear, food supplies, fishing rods, and more. You can head off for a spontaneous weekend getaway without having to plan what to pack. The trunk opens from both sides and is secured with a lock. The maximum recommended load is 45 kg.
Great autonomy
The CycloSun Capsule solar trailer is covered with a large, flexible 150W solar panel made of high-efficiency SunPower back-contact cells. The trailer connects directly to the battery with a charge controller. With its 150W output, you have enough power to recharge your battery up to twice and travel up to 100-150 km per day!
Drive safely
With its rounded shape and no sharp angles, the CycloSun Capsule solar trailer poses no danger to pedestrians. To prevent theft, the trailer locks, keeping your belongings safe and dry. The trailer is equipped with reflective strips and reflectors for maximum visibility when driving at night.
COMPATIBILITY
The solar trailer is compatible with all electric bikes that meet the following 3 criteria:
#1. Standard connector
The Cyclosun solar charger uses cylindrical connectors in the standard DC 5.5 x 2.5 mm format. This connector format is fitted to many recent electric bikes.
There are many different connector formats for charging electric bike batteries: XT60, XT90, IEC, XLR-3, RCA, GX12, GX16, ST3, etc. Some bikes equipped with proprietary battery connectors are not (yet) compatible.

#2. Charge while driving
If you can use your electric bike's display when the battery is charging from the mains, then you can charge the battery while riding with a solar charger.
If the screen goes black, you can only charge when stopped.
#3. Battery access
The battery can be located under the saddle, on the luggage rack or on the frame with a charging connector accessible while riding.
