With the CycloSun Surface Daily solar charger, there's no need for a power outlet: let your electric bike recharge itself!
Autonomy
The Surface Daily solar charger combines a shatterproof 50W solar panel with a high-efficiency charge controller. Solar charging is 100% automatic whether the device is on or off, so your battery is always charged when you need it.
In good weather, the Surface solar charger produces up to 250 Wh per day (Central Europe), the equivalent of 35 km of additional range. The range in km varies depending on different factors: season, weather, exposure time, engine consumption depending on weight, etc.
Safety
The Surface Daily solar charger is installed on the luggage rack. With its rounded corners, Surface Daily is much narrower (45 cm) than the handlebar: nothing sticks out!
The reflective side and rear stripes are an additional safety feature: you are more visible on the road, especially when driving at night.
Modular
The Surface Daily solar charger has an auxiliary port to suit all your power needs.
If you're going on a trip, you can connect an external solar panel for faster charging, either during breaks or while riding (mounted on a trailer).
If you switch e-bikes, the controller's output voltage is programmable (24V, 36V, 48V).
Sustainable
The battery requires regular maintenance, otherwise its performance will quickly degrade. When the solar charger is exposed to direct and indirect sunlight, the battery maintains an optimal charge.
The Surface Daily solar charger has been tested for 10 years in real-world conditions and comes with a 5-year warranty. Surface Daily is robust and weighs only 3.2 kg. Once installed on your luggage rack, the solar charger generates no vibration or noise and is drop-resistant.
Easy installation
The Surface Daily solar charger installs on the luggage rack in 5 minutes; no modifications are necessary. The flat part of the luggage rack must be at least 20 cm long, and the width of the luggage rack must not exceed 17 cm.
COMPATIBILITY
The solar charger is compatible with all electric bikes that meet the following 3 criteria:
#1. Connector
The Cyclosun solar charger uses cylindrical connectors in the standard DC 5.5 x 2.5 mm format. This connector format is fitted to many recent electric bikes.
There are many different connector formats for charging electric bike batteries: XT60, XT90, IEC, XLR-3, RCA, GX12, GX16, ST3, etc. Some bikes equipped with proprietary battery connectors are not (yet) compatible.

#2. Charge while driving
If you can use your electric bike's display when the battery is charging from the mains, then you can charge the battery while riding with a solar charger.
If the screen goes black, you can only charge when stopped.
#3. Battery access
The battery can be located under the saddle, on the luggage rack or on the frame with a charging connector accessible while riding.
